I got a new bed. Hopefully, I will get some pictures of the bed soon.
The other thing is working.
Not much is really going on. I am catching up on Bones and House since I missed the begining of those shows this year.
I did find an interesting show. I fell in love with "Instant Star". Mostly, the music is the hook. I started watching the re-runs of the show before the new season. They just aired the last episode of the show, and like most things I am mixed on the ending. I am just going to have to live off of fanfics to get an ending I enjoy on both parts.
"Instant Star" is about a young teen who wins the Instant Star contest. Jude Harrison won and with that a 3 album contract. She grows as an artist with sexy bad boy Tommy Q of Boyz Attack and stays ground with her sister Sadie and her best friend Jamie.
It is the songs which are really what makes the show work. The beginning of the series, the song was whatever happen in the epsiode. Yet, this worked. As the characters grew, so did the storyline.
Of course, there has to be a big drama of love and this show had it. To explain, I will let Jamie take over:

I have an idea for a new GSR (Grissom and Sara) video but I just can't find the right song for it. So right now, I am going crazy with this idea and no song to put with it.
I am asking for anyone out there what song would you like. Any comments for a song is better than none.

This is an older video done by Sempai Music Videos. It has been a long time since I have seen the video but it makes me giggle everytime I see it.
The anime is Shoujo Kakumei Utena (Revolutionary Girl Utena) about the 'relationship' between Touga and Saionji. If you have seen the show, those two are just friends but considering how messed up the show is I wouldn't be surprised if something was happening. I remember the first time I saw this and fell off my chair laughing.

New episode of CSI. I really liked the episode. Sure it had the new DA, who is suppose to has this 'history' with Grissom.
Whatever *insert eye roll here*
She can say Grissom hasn't let her down because maybe he is her soulmate all she wants. But Grissom is taken. Unless TPTB are very cruel and go off the path and make Grissom and Sara be done with. Which I don't think they are going to go in that direction.
H-E-L-L-O ... the phone call heard around the world. Okay it really wasn't heard. Mean "powers that be" but it is okay. Us GSR fans know who is on the phone without having to hear anything. The look on Grissom's face is a look of a man in love. Who could blame him. I know I don't.
Of course, I would have be extra happy for the deleted scene with Catherine to have been kept. It shows her being a CSI (all much as she can be not to get caught) to see where Sara and Grissom are at in their relationship. I know if I was her and Grissom wasn't saying, I would be snooping too. The shirt in the closet is the shirt Grissom wore at the end of season six when their relationship came out to the fans. And the best photoshop picture ever!!!
But I can understand time and keeping the fans guess. I am just happy they decided to at least let the fans see the deleted scene than throw the scene in the trash. Slowing keeping us GSR fans happy even without Sara being there.
I am going to have to watch the episode again --- and the ending with the phone call.

My sister is very happy since they are no longer in Boston. She wasn't happy there for many reasons one being it doesn't cost that much to leave there. The second reason has to do with the fact of her job. She just wasn't happy with the people and the lack of anyone helping her do anything. She got a good position within the company at the main offices. She is very happy with her job.
Since, they moved they have been looking for a house. They found two houses and put an offer down and got the house. Of course, by the time I go to visit they won't have the house yet. Probably not till next month. But that is okay.
The reason for me visiting her is to get away from my job. Granted, I just got my review and it was a very good review. My boss was very happy with my progress since I have only been a manager for less than a year. My boss said I was above what I am suppose to be for how long I have been a manager. I am just tried of picking up after the other managers. It just sucks that I am doing the paperwork and disciplining the staff. It is no wonder why the staff would be mad at me if I am the only manager disciplining the staff.
Sure, I am going to Disney World but that is in Aug, but that is months away for me. So, I am going to Kansas City in less than a month. I can't wait ...

Just a few more days until the new episode of CSI is back on air. I am very happy. Even if Sara isn't there, but from what I hear she is still there in spirit. The first episode since 'Bull', has Grissom out with a cold and Catherine coming over to update him on the case. In her mind, there is no harm in checking out Grissom's apartment to see where his relationship with Sara is at.

This is probably a normal thing but I am getting so burned out from work. I can't stand more than half of everyone I work with. I have to pick up after the other managers and do all their work. Not only am I doing all the paper work and training but I am stuck doing the order and inventory. Where the other three managers get sit on the bums and do nothing. One manager I know for a fact doesn't do anything and my bosses knows he doesn't yet they don't make him do his work. GRR!!! I am tried of doing all their work. More so since we are under staff as it is.
Which brings me to the point of this blog. I think I need a break or a mini-vacation before I decided to lose my mind. I was going to visiting my sister again but they just moved away from Boston. Which they are super happy. They are in the middle of looking for a house, and I don't want to be in the middle of their hunt.
Oh well, I will probably think of something. But it is going to be soon.

I have watched the movie 'Ark of Truth' two times and I love it. It does everything it needs to do to end the story arc they started two years before. But I wanted to take the time to say thanks to MGM and to the fans who have gone out to buy it. Hopefully, MGM will continue to make SG-1 movies for future.
Also, I hope SCI-channel is kicking themselves in the butt for them to decided to cancel the series.

Why is it that when you pre-order something it doesn't show up the day it is suppose to come out. I pre-ordered a DVD from amazon and it won't get to my house until tomorrow. Yet, I could go out to the store and buy the DVD and get to watch it today. Why would someone want to pre-order something from amazon if they can't make sure it is to your house on the today it is suppose to come out? The reason why you pre-order it is not only to make sure you get a copy but to get on the day it comes out.

The D&D family had to say goodbye to one of their father's this past week. It is a sad thing indeed to see someone who created a world where anything could happen leave us. Rest in peace and hopefully your a hero where ever you are Gary Gygax. Remember, not to throw a fireball in small spaces.
4th Edition is coming out in just a few months. I am actually looking forward to this. Granted, my gaming group knew it was only a matter of years before this edition would come out after their lame 3.5 edition. But here is a funny trailer for 4th Edition:

What is CBS saying to the GSR fans? Are they telling us Sara will be back with Grissom or are they just being really mean? I will be mad if they are toying with us. I think all of us GSR fans are upset and having to get our fits with fanfiction. Isn't it bad enough Sara is gone from the show with having the episodes before hand with Gissom and Sara saying they were going to get married. Than she leaves him with a letter. Please, say this video is a light of hope. Don't toy with my and the other GSR fan's feelings.

The Save the 4400 is going strong. I just saw this video for it and was just impressed at how real it looked. It is a great video and I think gets the message cross. I only hope USA gets the picture and decides to save the show. I loved the show and don't think it is over with. 4 seasons isn't enough and the ending of the last season was left on a cliff hanger.
Gateworld.net has just put up this video of some behind the scenes of the new Stargate Movie which comes out next month. I can't wait for this to come out. I already have pre-order this.
Even if Valentines day was only created for people to go out and buy cards, flowers, candy, and jewelry it is still a fun day. I say this before heading to work which it could be terrible tonight. Yet, it maybe for those with someone to spend it with, but it doesn't have to be. I say it is for anyone who loves and cares for someone else. Spend time with your love one either it be your family, friends, or lover. Enjoy in the love.

On another note, I just finished another GSR video. I want to thank all those fanfiction writers out there who have been keeping me sane since Sara left. Your GSR stories are the bomb and this video is for you. Happy V-day GSR fans!!!
I love the song and it just seemed perfect for these two. The song is Flames by VAST. My favorite off the album. I think it mostly has to do with the cello. I love the song. Very soft and sweet.
The video I was trying to do was show Grissom remembering Sara from when she came onto his crime scene to leaving him with a kiss. It is showing the relationship from Grissom's side of meeting Sara again, to having mixed feelings and tension, to telling her no, to admitting he has feelings for her, to seeing maybe it is too late, to finding out it isn't, to him poping the question and Sara needing to find and heal herself. There is everything for tension, laughter, and sadness. I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I had making it.

X/1999 is a magnificent, enthralling, with non-stop action, and loveable characters. The point of the show was two sides; one wanted to save humanity and the other wanted to kill/restart humanity. One boy who would decide which one would win. The story also put two friends against each other and having to kill one another to win.
Like I said before, the ending doesn't change much as far as which character "kicks the bucket". The ending to the movie had the main character dead and his friend who killed him holding his head in his arms crying. Than the credits came rolling out. I was very displeased with the ending.
While the series ending, had the main character dead but his friend and his friend's sister had also died. Mostly, the friend was left alone. Sure the future is now up to the people and anything can happen at the end. The point was the tragic ending not only for the main character having to die but leaving the man who killed his best friend with the memory of doing so and taking the people that mean everything to him. Nice piece of work.
